  • Weebly (or other website building programs)

Line Cook

The Casual Cafe at Grelen is ever growing and currently in need of a qualified Chef's Assistant/Line Cook. This person must be clean, flexible, organized, professional, trustworthy, and have a positive attitude while working well with others. We are looking for an experienced candidate who is able to excel in a fast paced kitchen environment with constant physical activity. The Cafe is open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and closed Monday/Tuesday.

  • Assist the Chef in prep for the cafe and events at Grelen

  • Assist in making ice cream

  • Execute lunch menu items during Cafe Service

  • Keep the Cafe & Kitchen neat and organized

  • Manage the use, storage and freezing of all Grelen produce

  • Stay in compliance with FDA rules

  • Wash dishes as needed

Weekend availability and reliable transportation are essential. Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds. This is a very physical position and one should expect to be on his/her feet for long periods of time.

​
