6+ Miles of Walking/Hiking Trails Through
Grelen Nursery's 1000 Acres of The Virginia Foothills

The Grelen Trails feature six miles of scenic paths winding through nursery fields, wildflower meadows, and old-growth forest across Grelen’s breathtaking 1,000-acre property in the Virginia foothills. Designed for all ages and skill levels, the dog-friendly trails offer everything from leisurely walks to sweeping vistas overlooking Grelen Nursery. Connected to James Madison's Montpelier trail system through a Virginia Treasure-designated connector trail, visitors can explore more than 15 miles of natural beauty throughout the surrounding countryside.
Grelen Trail Systems are FREE and open to the public during business hours. The Montpelier Trail Systems are always free to Orange County residents but non-Orange County residents must purchase at least a property pass to access the trails.
