Wreath Workshop 2023

Gather your friends...our most popular wreath workshops are back! Create a homemade wreath for the holidays with beautiful cuttings straight from our Grelen Nursery fields. The Market at Grelen has been making wreaths for years and in this workshop we will show you the "tricks of the trade" and help participants create a lovely full wreath for themselves or as a gift. This class is great for all skill levels and those with wreath-making experience are sure to have fun, too. We will start the workshop off with an informative talk about the types of greens being used in the wreaths and then there will be an instruction period for approximately 2 hours. Participants will have an extra hour to finish the project if necessary. All of the fresh greens, a standard wreath frame and a burlap ribbon bow are included in the fee. In addition, there will be complimentary coffee and pastries offered. Lunch & Virginia beer, wine, & cider will be available for purchase in the Cafe. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PRUNERS and dress for the weather! Classes will be a max of 12 people and we will be outside regardless of temperature. If there is inclement weather, we will be in the large tent or shade garden which are not heated. If these classes fill up, we will consider adding more dates.
