Join this hands-on class at the nursery and discover how to create lasting winter interest with trees and container plantings. This talk will also cover low mantainence garden planting ideas.
We’ll explore trees that stand out in winter—those with distinctive bark, graceful branching, persistent berries, or evergreen foliage—along with practical guidance on selection, placement, planting, and care. You’ll also learn how to design containers that remain attractive from fall through early spring, using evergreens, ornamental grasses and strong structural forms.
Whether you’re refining an existing garden or starting fresh, you’ll leave with clear plant recommendations and design ideas you can put into practice right away.
