Fresh herbs transform a meal — and growing your own makes it even better. Join Don for a flavorful and informative master class focused on cultivating and using culinary herbs at home.
We’ll begin with a walk through Grelen’s kitchen herb garden, where Don will share insights on selecting the right herbs for your space, proper planting techniques, harvesting tips, and how to keep your herbs productive throughout the season. You’ll learn about soil preparation, sun exposure, watering, and how to design an herb garden that is both beautiful and functional. We’ll also explore which herbs grow best together and how to successfully grow them in garden beds or containers.
As a special addition, you might get a quick sighting of Chef Paul, who will share simple ideas and inspiration for incorporating fresh herbs into your cooking (if available!! - Saturdays are BUSY!)
