Tastings are held every Saturday at The Market and there is a different grouping of Virginia beer, cider and/or wine each week.
Tastings start at 11:00 a.m. and go every 30 minutes until 3 p.m. You can sign-up for any 30 minute time slot once arriving at the cafe or pre-register by calling 540-672-7268 or emailing Emmie Woody.

Cider : Castle Hill Cider, Keswick, Va " Serendipity" The first cider to ever take home a Gold Medal! Serendipity was recognized and awarded a gold medal at this year's Governor's Cup. This cider is bright and refreshing. At the Market we sell it in 500ml bottles, the perfect lunchtime accompaniment.
White Wine: Valley Road, Afton, Va " Viognier" We are introducing this wonderful new winery to our line up this year and we are proud to announce that they won a Gold Medal for their Viognier at the 2018 Governor's Cup Award. Aged in stainless steal and French Oak the wine is complex yet well balanced.
Red Wine : Early Mountain Vineyards, Madison, Va. "2015 Eluvium " Not only a 2018 Gold Medal Winner, but also made it into the Governor's Case! This red blend has what it takes to stand the test of time. Full bodied, robust with hints of round rich fruit. Open this bottle now and serve with dinner or store it in your cellar and revisit in 10 years. Merlot, Petit Verdot, and just a hint (1%) of Cab Franc.
Red Wine: Keswick Vineyards, Keswick, Va. " 2016 Cab Franc" Another Gold Medal winner, and it too was selected for the Governor's case! These Cab Franc grapes get the royal treatment at Keswick Vineyards. Hand picked and hand sorted, with great attention to detail and only selecting the best fruit to ferment and bottle. This is a full bodied red with a peppery blast on the finish. 100% Cabernet Franc.
